Refund Policy Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the QuantBytes platform. All payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle") acting as our authorized reseller and merchant of record.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

Note: During beta, billing/payment processing may not be enabled yet; plan selection may still set your subscription access level.

14-Day Refund Window

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund for any reason. This aligns with Paddle's minimum refund policy as outlined in their Buyer Terms.

To be eligible for a refund within the 14-day window:

  • The request must be made within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account

After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion and typically only for technical issues that prevent you from using the service.

Free Trials & Cancellations

If your plan includes a free trial, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. The 14-day refund period begins from the date your trial converts to a paid subscription.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops automatic renewal but does not automatically trigger a refund. If you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you remain eligible for a refund upon request.

In the current beta, payments may not be enabled yet; selecting a plan may still set your subscription access level.

Eligible Refund Reasons

Refunds are typically granted for:

  • Duplicate or accidental purchases
  • Technical issues that prevent access to the service
  • Major feature discrepancies from what was advertised
  • Service outages that significantly impact usability

Refunds are generally not granted for:

  • Change of mind after 14 days
  • Not using the service after purchase
  • Strategy performance or trading losses
  • Minor bugs or cosmetic issues
  • Failure to cancel before trial ends (if applicable)
How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 14-day window:

  1. Use the refund link in your purchase receipt email from Paddle
  2. Contact our support team at seanman519@gmail.com with your purchase details
  3. Include your purchase email, invoice number, and reason for the refund request

We will process refund requests within 5 business days of receipt. Refunds will be issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

Important: If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds must be requested through their respective platforms, not through us directly.

Non-Refundable Situations

Certain situations are explicitly non-refundable:

  • Purchases made more than 14 days ago (except as required by law)
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period
  • Third-party fees (payment processing fees, currency conversion fees)
  • Violations of our Terms of Service resulting in account termination

If you cancel your subscription outside the 14-day window, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Dispute Resolution

If you're unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may contact Paddle directly as the merchant of record. Paddle handles payment disputes and chargebacks according to their policies.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the refund policy, such as repeatedly purchasing and requesting refunds.

Policy Updates

This Refund Policy may be updated as our billing system evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through platform notifications.

The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
